As a member and distributor for The RNAi Consortium (TRC1 and TRC2), Sigma is the exclusive provider of TRC clones in purified DNA and lentiviral formats for any combination of TRC clones. We also provide clones in bacterial glycerol stock format.
The Consortium’s TRC1 shRNA library is now complete and the collection includes over 159,000 pre-cloned shRNA constructs targeting more than 16,000 human and 15,000 mouse genes. The clones are available individually, as gene family sets, or as whole genome libraries. Sigma is also the exclusive supplier of the TRC1.5 library, which is additional clone content of more than 18,000 pre-cloned shRNA constructs in the same vector backbone as TRC1. The TRC2 library currently in progress and will contain approximately 150,000 pre-cloned shRNA constructs, building upon the TRC1 base. Sigma is the current sole distributor of the TRC2 library and clones.
We also offer a variety of products to support our MISSION shRNA product line. We offer positive, negative, and transduction controls so that you can accurately interpret your knockdown results. In addition, we offer the ExpressMag® Transduction System to increase transduction efficiencies and target viral delivery in difficult to transduce cells. We also offer Lentiviral Packaging Mix, an optimized formulation for enabling the generation of high-titer lentivirus in HEK293T cells.
