Antimicrobials produced by bacteria which kill oter bacteria which are calles as bacteriocins are very interesting area of research to find and understand the new antimicrobials against many drug resistant pathogens.
The day before my lab partner and I got the perfect acrylamide gel stained with silver. The next day we followed the exact same steps but we got this piece of junk, why? The planets were not aligned properly maybe? Since that day I understood that research is not an easy road but sure is fun.
