The technology can rapidly and permanently disrupt the gene of interest, or be integrated it into any genomic loci. CompoZr can be used to create gene knockouts in multiple cell lines and in cells that are not amenable to RNAi, to create knock-in cell lines with promoters, fusion tags, reporters, or cell lines that produce higher yields of proteins and antibodies.
